I have been marketing on the net for a number of years using a method called Shoestring Marketing. That is rather than paid advertising, I use free and inexpensive methods to market on the net. While you might make a quick buck with paid advertising, shoestring marketing creates a bond of trust and mutual respect between the marketer and their customers.
I chose this method because mutual respect and trust are integral with my personal values.
