As I continue to watch the Olympics, I am overjoyed for I know the power of the belief they display is also deep within my soul.

Last night, I watched Evan Lysacek take the Gold in men’s figure skating.  In spite of all of the advice that he had received,  he overcame his detractors. From an early age, he had been told that he was too tall to be a figure skater.  The average male figure skater and all previous winners of Olympic Gold were typically 6 inches shorter than him and he could never expect high scores because of his height.  I am overjoyed that he listened to his heart rather than all of the external advice that he had received.  Listen to your heart and the world is your creation.
